In addition to the work, duties and rights mentioned elsewhere in this regulation, the work, duties and powers of the Sick Industry Suggestion Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) To identify the sick industry, to analyze the physical, technical, market system, management and other aspects of such industry,
(b) conducting on-site study of the industry to identify the actual status of utilization,
(c) To prepare a report with suggestions regarding the activities to be done by the Government of Nepal and related hospitals in relation to rehabilitation, reconstruction and management of potential hospitals among sick hospitals,
(d) To recommend classification of sick industries in accordance with Section 40 of the Act based on the criteria mentioned in Rule 32,
(e) Recommending to the Government of Nepal for improvements to be made in policy, legal and managerial matters related to other exemptions, facilities or concessions to be received by sick industries,
(f) Obtaining and analyzing financial statements of the industry: including other statements,
(g) To receive information related to the industry from the relevant bodies,
(h) Discuss and interact with the persons and bodies concerned with the above and get opinions and suggestions
